Idiots…
Posted by: | CommentsA story I’ve been following over at The Reference Frame just about has me rolling off the couch with laughter. Lubo has actually a series of stories on Sam Branson, son of Sir Richard Branson, and Lewis Gordon Pugh. These two gentlemen intended to kayak up to the north pole. Apparently, they heard there wasn’t any ice and they thought they’d get some publicity and each day they would send a travelog diary to a British newspaper.
Well, after dire straights, pun intended, they were suffering from frost bite, they were iced in, and there even was worry of getting stuck. This all happened on their first 10% of their expedition. What I really found funny is that they reported encountering 88 polar bears along the way!
They did give up, but remember, this crew are the one’s who daily bombard you with AWG propaganda on the news and have even testified to Congress about it. Pugh at CNN informed us that global warming is even worse than he thought! To bad the polar bears weren’t hungry.
One Year Ago Today
Posted by: | CommentsOne year ago today we had an article about the first director of whats now the University of Wisconsin’s Gaylord Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies, Reid A. Bryson.
Of course its going up [global temperatures]. It has gone up since the early 1800s, before the Industrial Revolution, because were coming out of the Little Ice Age, not because were putting more carbon dioxide into the air.
