Holmquist’s Henchmen take over New Richmond school board

Led by their fearless leader Jeff Holmquist, the thugs took over the New Richmond school board. They’ve been there ever since they lost the election. They crowded the chambers, not looking for improving the quality of education, creating adequate competition for a failing system, or demanding consequences for incompetent teachers and administrators. No, they were there to hang the newly elected school board members and others on the board with which they disagree.
And who promoted and fostered this boorish behavior by the infants filling the board room? Why none other than the editor of the New Richmond News- Jeff Holmquist. Holmquist, whose agenda is easy to see, wrote editorials admonishishing citizens for revealing public records and even offered a bounty for an anonymous blogger. He then went on to name citizens in another editorial, attaching ulterior motives to these individuals to further inflame his liberal friends.
Jeff Holmquist, who advocates for further taxation, should take complete responsibility for what culminated into food fights disguised as school board meetings. Jeff Holmquist, who apparently doesn’t even reside in New Richmond, continues to stir the pot for his own political gain and additional advertising dollars for the beleaguered Ragtown Newsgroup.
Those citizens who voted for the three individuals chased off of the New Richmond school board ought to send a strong message to Mr. Holmquist by BOYCOTTING the New Richmond News. I wonder how Mr. Holmquist would feel then?

According to your post last week, there is only one (1) more student registered for this year compared to last year in the entire District.
Last year’s District enrollment was 2,631. You reported last week the new estimates for this year are 2,632.
That kid is going to be pretty darn expensive.
