Kaisersatt and Ellingson to Meet Secretly

Well it appears as though the Hudson Teachers’ Union has wasted no time in confiscating the additional $12 Million that the taxpayers unknowingly just gave them. Mark Kaisersatt, who doesn’t advertise but somehow makes a living in real estate, has set a meeting for next Tuesday. As you can see in the agenda they are going to add a number of positions, including several special ed positions at Willow River, only to transfer those people to Ron Bernth Elementary when in opens. Gee, who could have guessed that they would do that?
In another bit of illegal maneuvering the board will go into closed session to discuss the union contract. What the board knows is that the very first meeting with the union and their leader Scott Ellingson has to be conducted in open session. Therefore the board will be meeting illegally next Tuesday night.
Several questions come to mind:
1) Will the HSO cover this meeting?
2) Will Meg Heaton ask that it be held in open session?
3) Will the HSO print the demands of the union in their paper, or report on this at all?What you will find is that the HSO will spend absolutely no time on this issue at all. The union and the board count on it. The contract will be settled for well above the Qualified Economic Offer without the taxpayers even knowing what is going on.

Go to the meeting and get kicked out. File a complaint with the Wisconsin Attorney General J. D. Von Hollen. He will turn it over to a recent college law graduate and he will process the thing.
If you get to stick around you will see the rediculuous request for wage and benefit increases. One that is on the list of NEA/WEAC is long term care (free of course). One of these days a school board will fall for this and give it. My guess is that Hudson SB is high on the list of suckers who might fall for it.
