Middle School Band Trip

By

Point of Clarification -

Innuendo and lies on Monday night about the Middle School Band trip to Florida later this month.

Here are the facts:

A few months back, before the April election, Chris Skogland, Mike Ballard and Greg Demulling were proposing a policy limiting the distance the Middle School Band could travel on trips. The specific purpose of this would be to prohibit the trip to Florida next week

Once word of this nefarious and conspiratorial scheme was posted by me, Jack Bauer, the three stooges ran for the shadows and begrudingly acquiesced to the trip.

To try and portray otherwise is another lie.

Ask Skogland and Ballard about this. See if they can look you in the eye and be honest about it.

Then remember who is “for the kids”.

Lots more to come.

I wondered about this trip after the 300 mile limit, but what’s your point?

This limit should have been enforced. Middle school kids get all tripped out by the time they reach high school. The longer trips should have been reserved for high school as a reward for hard work. That’s how our kids did it years ago. This reward is like graduating from high school after completing middle school.

By the way someone should have asked the high school band instructor when they hired him if he would do the marching band. My understanding is he doesn’t want to travel. It’s only a rumor so I am willing to be corrected.

The point is Ballard, Skogland and Demulling tried to kill the trip, but create an excuse for doing so they could have some deniability.
