Here’s a list of the committee members who passed the 1998 Referendum-
Ken Heiser, Tom Brinsko, Alan Burchill, Dave and Lois Cahoy, Dr. Garth Christenson, John Duntley, Darryl Fellrath, Susie Gilbert, Sandy Griswold, Dr. Jeff Hitchcock, Tom Holland, George Klein, John Knutson, Jodell Krause, John Kurkowski, Jim Lutiger, Larry Szyman, Kevin Vance, Scott Wagner, Gay Williamson and Jerry Zappa.
Notice any familiar names? In today’s HSO the pro-referendum group will have a full page ad listing all of the “supporters” of quality education. Look for a few of these same names to be on that list.

If you look at the names listed in the HSO pro-referendum group ad, a majority of those listed are either employees of the school district, spouses of employees of the school district, or children of employees of the school district. If you eliminated these names how many names would be left? Not many.
