		<description>There is something to what you say, but I&#039;d argue that if you were in the tech sector in 2000-2002 the results were much worse. Most other sectors weren&#039;t hammered like the tech sector and the bulk of the problems were concentrated into a very small portion of the market.

The results? Employment for EEs tanked by over 25%. By that measure, what happened in 2000-2002 was a Great Depression for most techies, and we still haven&#039;t fully recovered there.</description>
