New Richmond has been invaded

On this blog, I read occasional aspersions cast by a Hudson gadfly who writes in the Hudson S-O. I admit to laughing as it seemed to irritate some OTBL posters. Now that he sees fit to interject his wisdom into the New Richmond News, I’m riled and wondering what has him ticked off. Does he go around inveighing on perceived inconsistencies of newspaper letter-writers throughout the state?
Anyway the plague has spread to New Richmond. His quotes of my posts indicates he spends lots of time perusing the OTBL. That’s nice. Okay, so he feels he caught me in some inconsistencies. Let’s review them.
Muchlousy takes the news article at face value and composes a letter based on it. Not too smart. I did invite the OTBL crew over to several school referendum meetings and I will do it again. My only concern was that some of the bloggers felt the solution was to vote down all referedums because the education system in general is shot. I disagreed with the first part and agree with the second. We still have K-12 students in school we can’t abandon. We have some security problems in one elementary school that can be fixed with building changes and the need to increase the capacity of another by adding 10 classrooms that were recommended some five years ago. That’s practical stuff while not trying for an educational campus to satisfy the elites in the community who are awfully free with taxpayer’s money.
In regard to that certain individual who was at a Hudson school board meeting, minding his own business in the audience, I’ll say this. He was not doing a thing when a police officer came in, observed no misconduct, and forced him to leave. The officer had some information from someone and acted on it. That certain individual was not informed what it was–just leave. If that isn’t Nazi-like I want to know what is?
By the way, the New Richmond School Board’s Long Range Planning Committee is having their fourth meeting on Monday, January 9th at the High School Media Center. Since it’s an entity of a WI state government body, it’s open to the public.

For those not familiar with Bob Muchlinski, he is the spouse of a Hudson School District teacher. Bob and his other friend Bob Baumann , also a spouse of a teacher, have become the self-appointed union spokesmen for what they perceive to be their God given right to take taxpayer – money in order to fund their health and retirement benefits for which they contribute almost nothing. Smear is their favorite method of rebuttal to those who question and hold accountable the government-run educational system upon which they are dependent on.
I’ll bet I know who controls the remotes in the Mulchinski and Baumann households.
