Gun control is a firm grip.
I would love nothing more than to see Jeb Bush run. He’s already said he wouldn’t. I just would like to see the faces of the leftys and the conspiracy theorists as they drop their jaws. I am also getting a bumper sticker to shock and awe all the idiots who have a Wellstone stickers still on their car, even moonbats from Wisconsin!

Now, it is a shame that Wellstone crashed. I wish he hadn’t. Cuz I would a liked to see the idiots faces when Coleman whipped him too.

I also think that Gore should have been the President in 2000. Only for the first couple of weeks till Bush was sworn in. Clinton should have been impeached!

The real deal, though maybe a long shot, is Governor Biil Owen of Colorado.
I ran into a couple of interesting cats down here in Mississippi. Actually, I was driving by Brett Farvre’s house (on my way to the new abode) and ran into a friend of a friend. Anyway, we got to chattering about politics and whatnot and he asked me the same question… Well, I said, there’s Newt from two states over. Then there is Bill Owens as mentioned by MP. Then there is Mitt Romney (Gov of Mass., Directed the Salt Lake Olympics), Rudolph Guliani, and George Pataki. Don’t forget Rick Santorum (PA) – the deal there is all about the electorial votes of PA… However, I lamented, there are a couple others whom I would love to see in the race. General Tommy Franks – great guy, superb soldier, excellent leader for the times. Orrin Hatch, my former adopted Senator (I now have Thad Cochran and Trent Lott) would be a superb choice, but I doubt he would be electable. Then, how about Elizabeth Dole? Could she be another Margaret Thatcher? No, but she would be an ally. Norm Coleman? Maybe, someday.. All of the above would be superb candidates and provide for lively debates…thinking about running mates for any of the above or a team of any two of the above gets interesting. I cannot support McCain (McCain Feingold is a disaster, not to mention a bad idea). I want more money in politics, not less!

Bottom line, it’s wide open and there is no clear-cut front runner.
