Reply to NY Times

Michael Barbaro,

If you would actually have read my blog you would have seen the following comment:

I agree. Maybe this is a lot of nothing after all.. I was never asked to do anything but did receive some information. I will reiterate that this site has always been about free enterprise and capitalism long before writing about Walmart. I had a Walmart post over 210 days ago. Blogs are a different brand of reporting and will always have an opinion slant to them one way or another. I think that the most contributors to this blog always strive to convey their opinions with clarity and forethought. That what it is, it – a blog. But not all is opinion. There have been some hard hitting stories that have never seen the papers. Nor are we from a city that has local daily news. So the slant of BARBARO to discredit blogs, especially coming from someone from the NY Times to speak on ethics or bias is preposterous.

In my posting earlier today, Walmart is simply defending itself from the union onslaught of disinformation purported by the lefist anti-capitalists. Barbaro is just another cog in that wheel as far as I”m concerned.

If the Times think they are taking the high road on this, then they are simply ignorant, arrogant, or both.
