Now I get it. No wonder things got out of hand yesterday at the bandshell in Hudson. The uber thug Glen Hartman of the Hudson police was in charge of handling the lunatic liberal Shelly Moore supporters. Far be it for ole Glen to actually enforce the law against his liberal buddies. Nope, nobody can see anything wrong with what happened in the park yesterday.
I can tell you that the one thing completely wrong is that the uber thug Glen Hartman gets to retire from the police force without EVER having contributed to his own pension. That is a contribuation that the taxpayers have made of 18% per year for the while time this wanna be bad boy has been a government thug.
Governor Walker never should have exempted thugs like Glen Hartman from the change in pension contributions. This guy shouldn’t even have a job, let alone a pension.
A Dane County judge reaffirmed her recent restraining order regarding the Wisconsin Budget Repair Bill that requires government employees in the state to contribute into health and pension plans plus restricting the ability to bargain benefits. In issuing her second stay of the law, the judge upped the ante by indicating any eventual ruling concerning open meeting laws may not come until the end of May. The timing is obvious as it comes after the election of a State Supreme Court Justice and the recall efforts against eight Republican Senators. The Governor and the GOP controlled legislature have several options to avoid a potential block of the legislation.
Upon reconvening the legislative session this week, the Assembly and Senate could simply pass the bill again; though I would certainly add the police and firefighters to the original bill. At least one Democratic Senator has pledged not to run for the border, which set up the present claim in court now. From what I have gathered, the Governor is reluctant to introduce the bill again on the principle that the court has no jurisdiction concerning the rules of the Senate. Read More→
Time to help those that have helped us. I heard Governor Walker today and he gave out a website to give donations to the 8 Senators that did the right thing for the taxpayers. Union interests are lining up to buy these recall elections and we need to be prepared. Governor Walker recommended donating just $1 for each Senator for a total of $8. Please consider giving these courageous people some help. Your donation will not only help them fight off these recalls, it will also show them how much support they have around the country.
This just in from your friends to the north.. Seems the Sawyer County Board is going to meet in closed session to “negotiate employee labor agreements.”
Folks, be worried. Be very worried!
The new law that modifies collective bargaining by various state government employees takes affect on March 25th.
The various bargaining units will/are trying to sneak thru a new collective bargaining agreement with the employee unions BEFORE the law takes place. This will needlessly spend gobs of your tax dollars. They will attempt to do this at the county and school district levels.. in closed session collective bargaining meetings to consider entering into new collective bargaining contracts with county/school district employee unions that will extend union benefits BEYOND the March 25th deadline.
This is going on right now all across Wisconsin – check your local board calendars and agendas carefully and find out now before these creeps circumvent the new state law that was passed by the legislature and Governor Walker.
Folks, please listen to this video!! It is a quick primer on everything that is wrong with Wisconsin. The ignorant sister spews lies right out of the gate insinuating that Governor Walker is poised to take bargaining rights away (ostensibly by force) from private sector unions as well as government employee unions. Where do these morons get this idea? And what moral code do they follow that would impel them to lie, cheat, and steal to save the inefficient family farm pipe-dream!
This so-called “family farmer” is spewing barnyard bullshit all over the place. The ignorant socialist pig is loud and proud to be a farmer who rather than sell his product based upon its value to consumers in a free marketplace argues for a guarantee to remain an inefficient leech off of the backs of all the other consumers out there. Just listen to his words: “economic democracy.” What?!?!?!? Near the end he calls for economic justice, living wages, etc… Where is the barf bag! Please understand that this is absolutely code for socialism, pure and simple! Tony is a pathetic socialist farmer.
Hey Tony, get out and argue for an honest day’s living for ones efforts! Just because you spew hog shit socialist clap trap LOUDLY doesn’t make it right or justifiable. And just because you shamelessly parade your wife, child, and sister (likely a socialist school teacher, or some other government creep) in front of people doesn’t give you an ounce of moral standing or credibility.
You are an embarrassment to all of humanity and clearly PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe Tony should be screaming about the 18 million in Federal Farm Subsidies spewed to his “friends and neighbors” in his own damn zip code! Hypocrit!!
Government’s Continued Bailout of Corporate Agriculture
By Ken Cook
Washington paid out a quarter of a trillion dollars in federal farm subsidies between 1995 and 2009, but to characterize the programs as either a “big government” bailout or another form of welfare would be manifestly unfair ….. to bailouts and welfare!
Barry Obammy placed his foot firmly in his mouth today while speaking to the nation’s governor’s. Here is a quote from his speech-
“I don’t think it does anybody any good when public employees are denigrated or vilified or their rights are infringed upon”
Oh Barry, please spare us the dribble…. Governor Walker’s office was quick to respond with this statement-
“I’m sure the President knows that most federal employees do not have collective bargaining for wages and benefits while our plan allows it for base pay. And I’m sure the President knows that the average federal worker pays twice as much for health insurance as what we are asking for in Wisconsin. At least I would hope he knows these facts.
“Furthermore, I’m sure the President knows that we have repeatedly praised the more than 300,000 government workers who come to work every day in Wisconsin.
“I’m sure that President Obama simply misunderstands the issues in Wisconsin, and isn’t acting like the union bosses in saying one thing and doing another.”
In another Ontheborderline exclusive, we have received a copy of an email of union thug intimidation. This time the event is to occur on private property. Notice that these teaching goons think a golf course open to the public as public property. It is obvious they don’t know the difference between private property where the public is invited to exchange in commerce and government property. Of course they believe in the right to destroy both.

Subject: Fwd: Rally in River Falls Saturday February 26th
RALLY IN RIVER FALLS: 4:00 PM – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH. Meet at KILKARNEY HILLS GOLF CLUB at 163 Radio Road, River Falls for a short rally and to line the road entering the Golf Club with vehicles and bodies showing union solidarity. This is a public golf course so there should be no problems. For additional information you can contact Cecil Cahoon, NEA Organizer at ccahoon@nea.org or via cell at 202-230-9027
Gov. Scott Walker, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Dean Knudson, John Shiltz, Kitty Rhoades, Sheila Harsdorf, Dan Kapanke, John Murtha, and Supreme Court Judge David Prosser are all invited speakers and/or guests to the annual Lincoln Day Dinner in River Falls. No doubt, they view this tiny retreat as a respite from the loud crowds speaking their minds on the State House grounds in Madison. But this is OUR chance to tell them that union rights are important in every corner of Wisconsin. The tentative agreement reached yesterday in Durand demonstrates that collective bargaining works: If it can work in Durand, it can work for Wisconsin. JOIN US on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Kilkarney Golf Course public parking area and help us carry our message to greet Governor Walker and his guests. WEAR YOUR RED and BRING YOUR SIGNS!

UPDATE: 6:13 p.m.
It appears not all of the headliners who were invited will be able to make it live. I do know that they may be teleconferenced in though. So the hundreds of cars and protesters stretching for miles to the PRIVATE entrance of Kilkarney’s will miss out. They get to stand in the cold wind, walk great distances, and wonder why they even came.
This weekend while in route to Madison representing the hard working taxpayers, I was thinking of the best way to help urge the missing Democrat legislators to come and fulfill their elected duties. I threw out the idea that Governor Walker should start announcing and planning the layoffs. If the AWOL legislators really represented their constituents, they would hightail it back to the capital to avoid the layoffs.
What a pleasant surprise! It is pleasant that we have a politician who does what he says he’s going to do. Walker is not only is a politician, but a leader.
Walker said in a statement to The Associated Press that the layoffs wouldn’t take effect immediately. He didn’t say which workers would be targeted but he has repeatedly warned that up to 1,500 workers could lose their jobs by July if his proposal isn’t passed.
Governor Walker’s proposal limiting collective bargaining for government employees is no less a defining moment for some Republican legislators. With almost certainty, the bill will pass the Assembly. But the Republican controlled Senate has a few unprincipled souls that may either vote against the measure or be counted as present. Among the weak kneed waffling wimps is Senator Shelia “Ethanol” Harsdorf.
The political calculation for Harsdorf seems rather simple. The vote will showcase who she represents; the government unions or the people that pay the freight. A “no” or “present” vote should terminate her political career. In such a case the Republican Party has a line drawn in the sand. On one side of the sand they can continue to tolerate her or on the other side she can be permanently banished and asked to resign.
Though a supportive yes vote cannot guarantee future political triumphs, Harsdorf is assured of no challenge within the party ranks or from a rumored third party candidate. Does Shelia really believe that the unions will support for swimming against the political tide.
In another bit of local political news, former Hudson Mayor Jack Berault has endorsed a liberal for the Hudson City Council. Over the years Jack has portrayed himself as a political conservative. One candidate in the race (Mark Pribonic) is a genuine limited government, individual right advocate. But when faced with a choice, Jack shows his real colors.
