What a beautiful evening for a campfire last night. As we enjoyed the fire the conversation turned to the valiant campaign of Shelly Moore to restore hope and dignity to the folks of our area. In a sign of unity and civility we honored Shelly as shown by the picture above. Of course the conversation was not complete without referencing Shelly’s new “friend” Playboy Roy Sjoberg and his cute bandana as he posed on the Hudson overpass this winter. Thanks Shelly and Roy, for “lighting up” our conversation!
At the end of the movie Tora, Tora, Tora, Admiral Yamamoto reflects on the news that despite two separate waves of bombing on Pearl Harbor the Japanese assault failed to find and destroy the American carriers. The Japanese Admiral says “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”
This supposed quote from Yamamoto has resonated with me today after the government union thugs failed in the mission of their recall elections to wrestle control from the Republican majority in the state Senate. Beginning in January, we have witnessed all colors of government union non-worker, workers from government teachers to police to bureaucrats engage in tactics fitting for a warring hoarde. They tried their best to intimidate the taxpayers through extortion, threats of violence, destruction of property, and importing socialist goons to disrupt peaceful rallies.
What should now be clear is that these government union thugs are not your friends, or your neighbor, or the fabric of a community. Make no mistake, the government non-worker, workers with Shelly Moore as their commander declared war on us. It is time for the sleeping giants in Wisconsin to mete out their vengeance. Read More→
Today is the day to send a message to the government union thug Shelly Moore and her minions by casting your vote for Sheila Harsdorf. Sheila had the courage and wisdom to fix a $3.6 Billion shortfall WITHOUT raising taxes on the average taxpayer. Let’s hope a victory by Sheila puts a nail in the coffin of the whole recall B.S.
Now I get it. No wonder things got out of hand yesterday at the bandshell in Hudson. The uber thug Glen Hartman of the Hudson police was in charge of handling the lunatic liberal Shelly Moore supporters. Far be it for ole Glen to actually enforce the law against his liberal buddies. Nope, nobody can see anything wrong with what happened in the park yesterday.
I can tell you that the one thing completely wrong is that the uber thug Glen Hartman gets to retire from the police force without EVER having contributed to his own pension. That is a contribuation that the taxpayers have made of 18% per year for the while time this wanna be bad boy has been a government thug.
Governor Walker never should have exempted thugs like Glen Hartman from the change in pension contributions. This guy shouldn’t even have a job, let alone a pension.
Take a look at this woman(?). She’s giving us the sign that her husband gave her last night when she got a little frisky….
So this is what civility is about? Remember when Shelly Moore rented the bandshell and announced her candidacy? Did you see teaparty people ranting and raving, being disrespectful and shouting obscenities?
Where were the Hudson police yesterday? Why didn’t they arrest these people for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace or inciting violence? Maybe it’s because the police thugs are on the same team as the other government union thugs who showed up yesterday.
What a pathetic display from the Shelly Moore supporters. Sure can’t let anyone have their right to free speech now can we? Is this what Shelly teaches her children to do? And to think these are the same people teaching our children about “anti-bullying”. How ironic!
Convicted criminal Chris Larson is in town to campaign for Shelly Moore. How appropriate that a convict is promoting Shelly Moore, who wants to steal more money from the taxpayers to line her pockets.
We all know that Larson was convicted of shoplifting, which looked really good on his resume when he ran for the state senate as a democrat. Stealing is all these people are good at. I understand that when Larson ran off to Illinois this spring to avoid doing his job that the retail stores in the Land of Lincoln had to increase security with his presence in the state.
What a LOSER Chris Larson is and how appropriate that he is working for another LOSER Shelly Moore.
Tell me that I’m having a bad dream or something. Do the Democrats really think they are going to win with a teacher union thug like Shelly Moore? OMG, have you seen her videos from Madison and Eau Claire? The ones where she is shouting and ranting about the union thuggery? How can Ms. Moore be a serious candidate when she has such close ties to perhaps the worst union in the country?
Shelly Moore is a joke, plain and simple. She needs to be defeated by Sheila Harsdorf so that we can maintain the proper changes brought about by Governor Scott Walker and the legislature. I know that there are some people at the Rivertowns Newspaper group that will disagree with this opinion, but that’s just too bad.
My yellow Labrador named Rebel has been acting strange the last few weeks. During our daily walks and after laying a sizeable pile, Rebel will suddenly stop and start scooting along on his butt. This stop and scooting goes on for a good five minutes. Sometimes the dog will even let out his version of the “Rebel Yell”.
I called the vet the other day and told him that it looks like Rebel has a case of hemorrhoids. After describing the symptoms, the doctor let out a little chuckle and said that what I described sounds like a sign of an intestinal parasite or worms. He told me to get a little stool sample so his office could confirm the diagnosis. I reminded the vet that there is nothing little about Rebel when he takes a dump. Rebel kind of takes after his master you know. The vet clarified what he meant and so late that evening I got a piece of shit from the yard to bring into the clinic.
Out of curiosity I got the dictionary and looked up the definition of a parasite. It seems a parasite is an organism that benefits at the expense of the host or in this case old Rebel.
This parasites thing got me thinking about the upcoming election between Senator Harsdorf and Shelly “the thug” Moore. Around town you see people displaying Moore campaign signs in their front yards. These signs tell you a lot about the people that live there. Why would someone support Shelly Moore?
Odds are the house with a Shelly Moore sign in the yard has at least one government non-worker, worker living there or the people are relatives of a non-worker, worker. The non-worker, workers are ticked off because new legislation clips some of their ability to suck the wealth dry from the people that actually produce something. In other words the Shelly Moore signs are like Rebel scooting on his ass and yelping. It is a sign of parasite that wishes to feed off the hard work and savings of its host, which is the taxpayer.
So who lives in those houses with Shelly Moore signs out front? The people inside have an immoral principle that they think gives them the right to take from others. They also believe that walking out on a contract or the responsibilities of a duly elected official is okay as long as it helps to preserve their right to steal from their neighbors. The morality of these Shelly Moore sign displaying government non-worker, workers is so low that they probably water their yard late at night by hooking the hoses to the faucet of the people next door; or they siphon the gas out of their neighbor’s car.
The next time you drive by a house with a Shelly Moore sign in the yard you know that a parasitic piece of shit lives inside.

no that was Happy. It is kind of amusing to see these people unknowingly brainwashed into promoting the so called “Right” agenda of turn them against each other to divert attention away from our actions until it is too late and we come for them as well. In every Hellspawn like movie the demon that they raise always eats the ones who congered them up first…
What do i know, I’m one of the most hated: an ex-State worker who now is going to school at the over paid teacher union hall, UWRF at the expense of the Veteran’s Admin Vocational Rehab program for disabled Vets. am I Biased? probably but I didn’t need to go to college to recognize stupidity. I was in the Army…
I guess that’s enough said. Could there be a bigger leech?
This post was originally attributed to an article by Walter Williams. As “One Guy” pointed out, Williams did not write the piece. Regardless who wrote it, I still believe the logic is sound. The reasoning boils down to two unfortunate facts about modern day America. Many in society fall into the category of thieves where voting is an act of selecting the stick-up guy and the bag man (Take a good look at the people that have Shelly Moore signs in their yards). Thieves are divided into two subsets: govewrnment non-worker, workers and those that sustain their daily lives or businesses by taking from others.
The other portion of the electorate not classified as thieves are too stupid to form any logical thought processes. This is the true legacy of government run education from kindergarten through college. The inability to think passes from teacher to student.
We are done!
Can President Obama be defeated in 2012? No. He can’t. I am going on record as saying that President Barak Obama will win a second term.
The media won’t tell you this because a good election campaign means hundreds of millions (or in Obama’s case billions) of dollars to them in advertising.
But the truth is, there simply are no conditions under which Barak Obama can be defeated in 2012.
The quality of the Republican candidate doesn’t matter. Obama gets reelected. Nine percent unemployment? No problem. Obama will win. Gas pricesmoving toward five dollars a gallon? He still wins. The economy soars or goes into the gutter. Obama wins. War in the Middle East? He wins a second term.
America’s role as the leading Superpower disappears? Hurrah for Barak Obama! The U.S. government rushes toward bankruptcy, the dollar continues to sink on world markets and the price of daily goods and services soars due to inflation fueled by Obama’s extraordinary deficit spending? Obama wins handily.
You are crazy Williams. Don’t you understand how volatile politics can be when overall economic, government, and world conditions are declining? Sure I do.
And that’s why I know Obama will win. The American people are notoriously ignorant of economics. And economics is the key to why Obama should be defeated.
Even when Obama’s policies lead the nation to final ruin, the majority of the American people are going to believe the bait-and-switch tactics Obama and his supporters in the media will use to explain why it isn’t his fault. After all, things were much worse than understood when he took office.
Obama’s reelection is really a very, very simple math problem. Consider the following:
1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly. Period. Doesn’t matter what he does. It’s a race thing. He’s one of us,
2) College educated women will vote for Obama. Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory. It’s really not more complex than that,
3) Liberals will vote for Obama. He is their great hope,
4) Democrats will vote for Obama. He is the leader of their party and his coat tails will carry them to victory nationwide,
5) Hispanics will vote for Obama. He is the path to citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic Party,
6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their key to money and power in business, state and local politics,
7) Big Business will support Obama. They already have. He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and is gaining more everyday. Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda,
The media love him. They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him. After all, to not love him would be racist,
9) Most other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won’t vote Republican. American Indians will support him. Obviously homosexuals tend to vote Democratic. And lastly,
10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn’t need anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned. The President will win an overwhelming victory in 2012.
For a number of years I have wondered how HSO assistant editor Randy Hanson could have such a liberal slant to his opinion. It is just difficult for me to imagine how someone working in the private sector could harbor such a skewed opinion on basic economics. Randy’s last opinion piece about collective bargaining was the ultimate in leftist reasoning, if you can call it reasoning at all.
In addition to his highly slanted opinion pieces, Randy has been giving significant front page press to teacher union leader Shelly Moore. It is amazing how much press Ms. Moore has received and how little she has actually said. Surely Mr. Hanson could ask a few hard questions of the challenger in this recall election. Her connection with the government union is quite obvious and she would certainly be serving a very narrow constituency if elected.
Then recently I learned that prior to joining the staff at the HSO, Randy Hanson was a Wisconsin government school teacher. Randy retired as a teacher and currently draws a public pension that he made no contributions to. The taxpayers paid for his retirement and now he spends his time rambling on about how we should spend even more money on big government. Randy tries to belittle anyone who feels that the current spending by our government at all levels is unsustainable.
Doesn’t Mr. Hanson or editor Doug Stohlberg feel the need to inform the readers that Mr. Hanson is a retired teacher? Isn’t Mr. Hanson proud of his teaching past? Obviously he feels to the need to criticize anyone who dares to challenge the status quo in government education, so why hasn’t he told us about his previous employment?
Perhaps Randy wants us to believe he is just this kind hearted individual who sees the good in such a system and that anyone who challenges the wages, pensions or healthcare that state employees receive must have an evil streak in them. Or a more likely scenario is that he doesn’t want his readers to know that he is one of those privileged individuals with the guaranteed pension for life.
Nice try Randy, but let’s be honest from here on out shall we?
After reading Randy Hanson’s bumbling opinion in the Hudson Star-Observer this week, I have to wonder whether teacher union thugs and State Senate candidate Shelly Moore ghost wrote the piece or his brain is incapable of anything other than controlling bowel movements. No proper functioning brain could produce such illogical crap.
Hanson writes about the Budget Repair Bill:
The so-called budget repair bill currently being held up in a state court because it was rammed through the Legislature under dubious circumstances would only allow teachers to negotiate their salaries. And any raises would be limited to the rate of inflation, unless voters approved a bigger increase in a referendum.
The same rules would apply to municipal, county and state employees — except for police officers and firefighters.
That isn’t how a modern free-market economy is supposed to work. It isn’t enlightened capitalism.
You are right Shelly (Randy), it does not look like the free market or enlightened capitalism (sounds like educrap speak) because it is about government. A person employed in the free market cannot force a customer to pay. As far as passing the legislation under dubious circumstances, what did the duly elected legislature run across the border to shack up with a 37 year-old divorced union thug in a skirt? Read More→
Wow, the dems couldn’t have picked a worse candidate to run against Sheila Harsdorf. Not only is she a bonafide government union thug, it seems as though she has more personal baggage than even Playboy Roy Sjoberg. We are working on the breaking news but want to make sure that we have our facts straight before announcing this information to the public. Ms. Moore should have been a little more careful before entering into public life…..
THIS is the best the Dims could do? A teacher union thug for state senator? It’s not hard to figure out who this union thug will be representing in Madison. And what’s with the hairdo? Were poodle cuts on special or what?
It looks like the new candidate that will be challenging Sheila Harsdorf has been “handpicked” by none other than local communist Roy Sjoberg himself. We know where your eyes are wandering underneath those dark glasses Playboy. Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmmmmmmmm One has to wonder how many long nights Playboy Roy had to spend with Shelly Moore to “convince” her to run. Always the ladies man, Playboy Roy probably had a big “hand” in personally picking Ms. Moore. One has to wonder how Mrs. Sjoberg feels about her man spending all of that time with the younger woman. Sounds like she’ll have to do a little meditating about this situation….
