   Unbelievable! This is the kind of story Bill O’Reilly would latch onto and play it for weeks. If this gets rolling, the local papers won’t be able to ignore it let alone the St Paul PP.

   Its nice to see that people have so much time on their hands to sit and create fun fiction on the web. The fact of the matter is those two men should have gotten kicked out of the school board meeting because they were being rude and not conducting themselves like adults. They were asked to leave and they didn’t, so yes the police were called. No, they shouldn’t have been removed by the police.
   However they are not some “victims” of the Hudson Police Department and the School Board. If you are attending a meeting you have the responsiblity to yourselves and to the rest of the public to act with some decorum and not like a two year old having a fit. What I find even more laughable is how much people are getting worked up about this. I highly doubt that Tim Russert or Bill O’Reilly or really would give a crap about this. There are greater first amendment cases going on in this country, and matter of fact, greater issues period that should be on our minds(the war, Katrina, poverty, supreme court nominations) Conspiracies? As much as the local rag (the Hudson Star Observer) would like to believe that its “hard hitting journalism” its nothing more then a gossip column. There is no conspiracy, no cover up.

   It’s also nice to see that Chief Trende also has so much time on his hands to sit and do nothing. Where are the results of the Devin Willi investigation? Where are the results of his ruling on the misconduct of his officers? Why did he take evidence and run to the newspaper only 40 minutes after receiving it?

   If the actions of the police are not done on purpose(thus a conspiracy), then I can only conclude it is incompetence. You can’t tell me there is no back slapping going on.

   Time will tell if one’s definition of ‘decorum’ is that of another, or if the law differentiates.

   MurphyGirl should be thankful she has enough time on her hands to sit and create her response to the fun fiction. And she should be thankful she has the right to be rude. Let’s hope that those who sacrifice nothing for their First Amendment Rights will remember those that do sacrifice for First Amendment Rights. If free speech rights are taken away for some, those rights will soon be taken away for all, if we allow it. Be very careful whom you choose to strip First Amendment Rights. You could be next.

   You are quite right choosinglife. It is obvious that murphygirl is not concerned about the 1st Amendment rights of those that she does not agree with. Have you seen the video murphygirl? If so, please inform us as to what decorum the two gentlemen who were hauled out by police were not following? What laws were they breaking? The board chair didn’t like what she was hearing and that’s the bottom line. Can you imagine that she has the power to remove you from the microphone because she disagrees with what you are saying? Please read the 1st Amendment to our Constitution before responding to this post. Oh, and watch the video as well.

   It would appear that murphygirl is applying emotion where logic is needed. First she says the individuals were being rude and asked to leave. I don’t know what meeting she’s talking about. From what I saw on TV the rudeness came first from the group on the stage. The person at the microphone was given 5 minutes but never allowed to finish. So who is murphygirl labeling as rude? Next she says the police should have been called but they shouldn’t have taken the citizens out. What side of this barbed wire fence do you want to rub up against? As I’ve said in the past, if you’re not willing or ready to clean up your own polictial back yard, what makes you think you’re even capable of giving a worthwhile opinion on larger issues such as the war, Katrina, poverty, or supreme court nominations. However, maybe after murphygirl does a little research and gets a little more education she’ll also learn that she doesn’t get a vote on things such as war, Katrina or supreme court nominations.

   Dear Murphygirl,

   Where did they grow you? It seems the Chief of Police can let his force do just about anything and your ok with that because you don’t like the individuals who were hauled out. I notice Ruthless left you the video to watch since I don’t think you did before you wrote the non-sense above (that is hyphenated like other things on this site). You stated the following:

   The reason I know you did not see the video was because the Police were called before the second person spoke! So why again should they have been “kicked out”?

   By the way, this is the first time I noticed that you commented on anything, so let me just be clear, don’t waste your time if you don’t know the facts. I will leave this that I heard once from someone:

   “Move your wallet or speak louder, because I can’t hear you”!

    Will murphygirl be a one shot wonder here ontheborderline or will she give us some details as to why she feels the way she does? It would be interesting to know if she is somehow related to any of the individuals that have come into question in this sordid affair. As with most of the people who have attacked concerned citizens, she probably has an agenda that she’s not willing to expose. Or is she? Come on murphygirl don’t let these evil people keep you from spouting off again. I’m anxiously awaiting your reply.
