Today’s Ray of Hope

I wasn’t really sure if this was really worthy of a Ray of Hope because Jack Bauer is supported by the majority of the citizens in New Richmond. But because this couple actually took time to write the New Richmond News and “Dare” expose the paper for their hypocrisy, they are the recipients of “Today’s Ray of Hope”

What makes this so ridiculous is that the newspaper is protected under the same Constitutional Amendment that Jack Bauer is exercising, that is the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. The first amendment provides â??Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.â?

What the paper is attempting to do is attack an individual and silence his right to his own opinion. Is the paper trying to do this because it sees blogs as competition? Like them or not blogs exist and have gained in popularity as a means to exchange information and opinions.
