Tracy Habisch-Ahlin

By

Just read the Hudson SO and all the letter from school board candiadates and persons backing candidates.

I came across one from Tracy Habisch-Ahlin telling us what she stands for. It was a breath of fresh air. Normally get it nervous with people carrying hyphenated names, but I am hearing things I like, like not jumping in and building a whole new school infrastructure.

Will she get any votes?

  1. Citizen Joe says:

Yes, 700 union employees and 700 of their spouses plus some of the children!

  2. Henry Patrick says:

Not so fast there Bob Z. You better read my upcoming letter to the editor which should appear in this Thursday – edition of the HSO, providing it isn”t vetted and edited by either the candidates or school administrators or the union chieftains. Tracey and her fellow union-backed candidate Brian Bell were both members of the Hudson School district task force. Both Tracey and Brian couldn”t gush enough over the proposed 85 million dollar plus referendum. see story In fact, Tracey did not even like the idea of “zero hour” classes as an option. No Bob, she is a big spender. Look at a previous post by Mobius; he handicaps Tracey as the most liberal candidate of the bunch. She is even worse than Priscilla Wyeth, if that is humanly possible.

In her own printed words in January, she said the board spends too much time discussing finances. her own wordsConsidering our current board spends no more than a minute on finances, this would mean she literally does not care one iota about spending or taxes.

BZ – Breath of fresh air!!???? What kind of air are you inhaling anyway? Do you breathe the air that smells of saying $11,000 a child isn’t enough?

Bob, your confliction is confusing many of us out here. So again I’ll ask, what side of the barb wire fence do you want to rub up against? Are you in favor of containing or limiting this runaway spending or not? Are you in favor of TABOR or not? Do you believe what elected representatives say or what they do? Or do you just plan to continue trying to straddle this picket fence with hopes of not coming down on one of the points?
