I think Benoy should make ontheborderline an offer. Seriously, this the best and most effictive communications model to hit the Western Wisconsin scene since the invention of the printing press… Just the mere presence of a known blogger at a public meeting is enough to send these government idiots and the elected lapdogs of WEAC into stark raving lunacy… What a freekin hoot!
Perhaps the high water mark has come and gone, perhaps not. Nevertheless, OTBL has left an indelible mark on the landscape (that would be an “abstraction” for those of you who teach in the givernment schools).
In one short year, actually almost three, a relatively small number of people have completely changed the nature, tenor and focus of debate in and around St Croix County. It’s a beautiful thing.
What Benoy needs is several of the Dr’s on this blog – desparately. However, being the predictable bunch they are, they’ll end up with some pathetic punk like MTF. In fact, I would not be surprised to learn that MTF has actually applied. AFter all, he fits the requirements perfectly (with the exception that he is a lousy writer, but effective writing skill has never been an actual requirement for any givernment job anyway…). Here’s his qualifications: he’s a brown nosing limp dick for the government schools, he bends over for all the liberals in Hudson, he has a wife who teaches Art (that’s probably enough right there), and on and on and on he goes with each written word becoming more worthless than the last.
MTF would is the perfect fit for the position, plus he comes cheap.
It should come as no surprise that the district is going down this road, but alas it would take mountains of money to afford the journalistic savoir faire that is ontheborderline.
Short of MTF, you know what will happen here… They will hire some hack who is completely and totally malleable. Everything will be vetted and rewritten to comport with the worldview of ??? Which brings up a question as to whom is actually going to be controlling the messages coming out of this school district. I mean, really, who is actually running the show that is the nightmare on Vine???
