Weather Blues

I guess we have had a lot more weather recently that has been average. Now, I know we here in Hudson did not have nearly the snow amounts that the rest of the state did. Didn’t Mad town have it’s snowiest winter ever this year? So with a lack of snow you would think there’s been a somewhat mild winter. I wish I could say that. It’s just been outright cold. I found myself scraping windows twice this week. My heat bill has gone up quite a bit as well. I find myself warming up either my car or my wife’s car before I venture out. It sure was nice to have the temperature reach 45 this past week, but when did it do that? Right smack in the middle of the work week. So this weekend I thought I’d get a chance to air out the ole garage and tidy up a bit. Heck no. It was too cold. So I turn the news on this evening and what are they talking about? Snow!

I am getting cabin fever like you wouldn’t believe. I need a vacation. I would even settle for sunny southern Iowa, thats how desperate I am. I do have a relative down in Keokek. Maybe I’ll go visit. Anyways, here’s the forecast for this week.
