Wait a second. Are you saying he is suspected of authoring his own threat letter and is still an employee of the City of Hudson. This goes under the same heading of the Sgt. Oehmke debacle. I think taxpayers deserve better from “their” city employees.
The group should be renamed “Friends of Hudson’s Public Toilets.” OK, “government” toilets for a couple of the dr’s out here. Actually, I kinda like the ring of that – gubment shitters. The fact is, this new little school which is the subject of this upcoming referendum has some pretty shitty implications – consider the waste water treatment issue. Has anyone publicly discussed this matter? Well, if this referendum passes the shit will hit the fan – and woe be unto the city council when the annexation debate surfaces and we find out what sort of shit has been going on behind the scenes….
Where’s columbo when we need him? Hey columbo, you need to edificate enoughalready on the Devin Willi matter. I have not lived in Hudson long enough to know all the shitty details but it is getting smelly.
Hang in there on this one enoughalready, I think columbo will reply at some point… Seems to me the gang out here OTBL made a pretty good case for this thesis but has never actually accused Devin of penning the letter or the envelope in which it rode the pony express.
Frankly, he should have been a prime suspect from what I have read out here but cover-ups are pretty typical in Hudson especially if you have family relationships within the city. Let’s see, columbo can you possibly tell us who’s who in this matter? It’s all so maddeningly confusing, and shitty.
Max, your comment had to be slightly edited, hope you don’t mind. Double check the yard in question on your way to the Y and you’ll see my point…
For those, including enough already, who are may not be familiar with the Devin Willi threat letter, I refer you to this past August when I had a series called â Beat the Chiefâ. This series layed out the clues which Chief Trende chose to ignore.
In the case of the banner, my sources tell me there were others hands involved besides Mr. Willi. There are several facts which are quite interesting: First, the request to display the banner, according to Mr. Willi was made four or five months ago. This puts the time period around June or July. This contradicts every alibi the School Board and the Superintendent have given for the December 12th date. They knew early in the summer that they were going to referendum. A letter by district lawyers dated on August 25th confirms this hypothesis. Bluntly, the Superintendent and School Board members blatantly lied to the public.
Secondly elected representatives on the Hudson City council were never notified during this four to five month period about the banner. Mr. Willi and his subordinates took it upon themselves to okay the hanging of it; throwing the city into a potential legal situation. This is simply unacceptable. The lack of common sense is appalling. Therefore Mr. Willi should be terminated immediately.
